The 2-day Ausangate Hike experience allows us to get to know one of the most popular natural destinations today, hidden by the snowy mountains.

The Ausangate Mountain and the Mountain of Colors Tour was planned to explore the different mountains and lagoons that surround Vinicunca, which are located near the highest snow-capped peak in Cusco.
It is a magical place to visit in the Andes of Cusco. First of all, we will spend the previous night at a high altitude in a community of shepherds to then head to the Mountain of Colors The next day we will have a pleasant experience in the Ausangate region, the Ausangate is the largest mountain in the southwest of Cusco, considered by the people of the region as a God.

Our Tour begins in Cusco; where we will pick you up at your hotel before 5:00 am to board our private transport towards the town of Checacupe. The trip lasts approximately 2 hours. Before having breakfast we will stop in the town to enjoy the old bridges: Inca, Colonial and Republican, then we continue our trip in the direction of Quesiuno (4,326m.a.s.l.). Where we will have breakfast after which, we will begin our walk to the Mirador del Ausangate and Pucacocha (Ausangate and Pumacocha watchtower) – 1 hour and a half walk approximately. Lunch will be served in this area.
After lunch, we will walk for 3 hours and a half hours towards the Anata campsite at 4,885 m.a.s.l. We will have tea time near the Ausangate glacier and the Vinicunca chain
This day we will enjoy the most complete and beautiful views of the Mountain of Colors and the entire Vinicunca mountain range. Early in the morning. After breakfast, we will walk through the mountains to the Vinicunca pass 5,020 m.a.s.l. For the first spectacular views of the Mountain of Colors.
It is worth mentioning that “The Ausangate region is incredibly colorful with a Magical and Mystical landscape”, Then we will begin to descend to the other side of the mountain, on the way we will have incredible views of snow-capped peaks, lakes, mountains and others.
At the end of the walk, our transport will be waiting for us to take us to the designated place for lunch, and finally back to Cusco to drop you off at your hotel.
