In the afternoon, we will explore Lima and its majestic past. This excursion offers the best combination of various attractions of Lima and its three historical periods: pre-Latin, colonial and contemporary. Several pre-Columbian cultures dating back thousands of years have developed in Lima, of course, it was also part of the Inca Empire. This day is very important, because we are getting closer to one of the 7 Wonders of the World. Today we will go to the city of Cusco, and the first point of visit is the indigenous market of Pisaq Upon arrival in Cusco, we will meet you at the airport and take you on a full day excursion to the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Next to the Vilcanota River. You will find native communities, impressive terraces and many important archaeological sites.
On this tour, you will visit the Pisaq Indigenous Market, one of the most popular and picturesque indigenous markets in Cusco region. Travelers from all over the world come to buy all kinds of 
textiles, pottery, jewelry, ponchos, rugs, hats, gloves, Andean instruments, pottery, alpaca, and llama woven clothing, and a lot of beautiful souvenirs.
Your tour will continue to the archaeological site of Pisaq, magnificently perched at the entrance to a large gorge. The citadel overlooks the Urubamba Valley and the city of Pisaq from above. Pisaq was strategically situated along a road that connected the Inca Empire to the jungle to the east, and the site is an impressive reminder of how high development this civilization reached in terms of construction and agriculture.

The fourth day of your tour will be one of the most unique and fascinating experiences in Peru. You will be picked up from your hotel in the Sacred Valley, we will start with the tour, to one of the most unique places in the Sacred Valley called Moray (known as the agricultural laboratory of the Incas), where you will discover how the Incas used the enormous natural voids within the surface of the land to build irrigated agricultural terraces. Surprise yourself with these natural formations and how nature has created different environmental conditions. (Known as microclimates), which are replicated in greenhouses today due to their favorable environments.
After visiting this incredible place, we will go to the salt area of Maras, where you will learn all about this incredible destination and the process to extract the salt that is famous all over the world, where we will be able to know more about the Pink Salt.
After this, you will continue the hike to Pichingoto, where the our car will be waiting to take you to the Ollantaytambo fortress, where your guide will explain about this wonderful place. Finally, you will be taken back to your hotel in the Sacred Valley.

On the fifth day, discover the magic of Ollantaytambo before traveling to Machu Picchu. After breakfast, a private bus will pick you up from your accommodation in the Sacred Valley and take you to the Inca town of Ollantaytambo. We recommend exploring the beautiful cobblestone streets, colorful textiles, and charming cafes before your train departs for Machu Picchu.You will board the train from the Sacred Valley to Aguas Calientes. It departs from Ollantaytambo and it takes about 2 hours
You will be taken to your chosen hotel in Aguas Calientes at the foot of Machu Picchu. Located in a deep gorge below Machu Picchu. The charm of Aguas Calientes is spread in its cobblestone streets lined with small restaurants and local shops, surrounded by sheer cliffs, a misty cloud forest and two mighty rivers.
We suggest having an early dinner tonight since the next day at dawn we will visit Machu Picchu.

This magical place evokes mystery and wonder. The archaeological site was discovered in July 1911 by the young American archaeologist Hiram Bingham. The view at sunrise is known as one of the most beautiful in the world. The Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu keeps a deep essence of sacredness and mystery, which harmonizes with the natural landscape, being a place of great 
scientific and cultural significance as an expression of the architectural development of the Inca culture.

In the afternoon we return to Ollantaytambo by train. And by bus to Cusco. After your arrival you can rest a little in our charming hotels in Cusco.

Discover all the charm of Cusco on day seven of your adventure. You will walk through the impressive city. Enjoy the market and see the locals in action. Starting at the local market of San Pedro, where you will experience a bit of Peruvian culture and daily Cusco life. In the market you can find the best variety of vegetables, bread and fruit in the country.
Continuing with this pleasant walk, you will visit the impressive Colonial Cathedral in Cusco that contains more than 400 paintings from the Cusqueñan School and several beautiful altars.
Then, you will visit Qoricancha, which was considered a religious, geographical and political center of Cusco.
The Qoricancha Temple was the place where the Inca paid homage to the Sun god called Inti. Qori means gold and Cancha means a closed enclosure, delimited by walls. You will then walk a bit uphill to enter the artisan neighborhood of San Blas, where you can see religious paintings and many art workshops. If they are available, you will be able to watch the artisans in action. After this, you will return to your hotel.

On day eight, the tour will take you through the fascinating Amazon rainforest.
Private transfer to take a flight to Puerto Maldonado. Today you will enter the mythical Amazon, the world’s largest rainforest and an area of pristine natural beauty. As you fly over, you’ll see the dramatic landscapes below transform from rolling mountains to endless Amazon forest vegetation. An absolutely stunning sight. Once you land in Puerto Maldonado, you will be picked up at the airport, to be transferred to the noisy port, where your small – traditional canoe – awaits you to take you to your lodge.
Glide down the Madre de Dios River on a one-hour boat ride, weaving through the wild waters and keeping an eye out for pink river dolphins and resident crocodiles and alligators, until you reach your jungle lodge. Here you will have time to settle in and have lunch. Enjoy a nap or just listen to the melodious soundscape of the jungle before starting the afternoon tour.
A great introduction to your Amazon adventure will be a guided hike through jungle trails. You’ll see a fascinating variety of wildlife, including towering trees, colorful birds and scurrying insects, many of which are unique to this rainforest.

It will be an early start to catch nature before the heat catches up with you! We recommend getting up at 4.30 am and heading to the clay lick near the lodge, where a flurry of brightly colored parrots descend for breakfast, pecking at the clay.
You may also want to visit the nearby lake, glide across the crystal-clear water in a wooden canoe, and soak up the pristine scenery that surrounds you.
The pristine lake and forest are populated by red howler monkeys, macaws, turtles, and the endangered giant river otter, to name a few.
Then you will return to the lodge to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.

The next day of our Peruvian Amazon tour will take you to a deeper area of the Amazon. Now that you have had enough time to familiarize yourself with the area, today you can go deeper into the flora and fauna of the Amazon.
One option is to take a tour into the forest, learning about the native plants used for medicinal purposes, food or shelter. There are also a variety of boat tours that explore the surrounding waterways, rich with the sights and sounds of Amazonian wildlife.
A sunset or nighttime boat ride allows you to see and hear a whole new side of the jungle, as the habits and sounds of the creatures change with the evening.
