The trek of 3 days and 2 nights to Huchuy Qosqo, is a really nice and not too challenging option, with spectacular views of the mountains, original Inca trails, as well as a visit to the town, and little-known archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, reaching the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
On this walk you will not find many travelers, because it is little known, even though it is just as fascinating as the others. You will also be able to see beautiful and incredible things, such as mountains, lagoons and fascinating places. This trek is perfect for those who have a short period of time or who are looking for an easy hiking route with many attractions to see.

We will leave the hotel very early towards the archaeological complex of Tambomachay (3,700 m.a.s.l / 12,139 ft.), located on the outskirts of Cusco.
The road will take us through high passes, valleys and beautiful natural landscapes, some Andean communities and the Qoricocha Lagoon (Golden Lagoon), The area is home to a wide variety of birds, including Andean geese, partridges, as well as a variety of birds of prey.
Then we will arrive at the community of Puma Marca (3,980m.a.s.l./ 13,057 ft.), from here we will be able to appreciate the imposing Valley of the Incas. We continue our walk ascending until Puma Punku (Puma gate), where we will observe mysterious rock formations, and finally we will arrive at the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo (3,450 m.a.s.l / 11,319 feet) where we will camp.
After breakfast, this day we will visit the archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo, having an incomparable experience in the high meadows that we have left behind. We will have a guided tour of the entire archaeological complex of Huchuy Qosqo.
Soon we will have free time to take photos of the beautiful panorama and explore the place on our own.
After having explored Huchuy Qosqo, we will descend for approximately 2 hours. After a short trek, we will have lunch and take a short break.
In the afternoon we will go to the train station in the town of Ollantaytambo, where we will board the train to the town of Aguas Calientes (Machu Picchu), for about 2 hours.
Upon arrival at the town of Aguas Calientes, we will go to the hotel to rest. The town offers all the basic services, such as restaurants.
The town is located on the slopes of the Machu Picchu Mountain.
Today we will visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will wake up very early to take the first bus to ride us to Machu Picchu. We will have a 2-hour guided tour of the site, during which you will learn about the Incas and visit the most important places in the citadel.
After this tour you will have free time to explore the site on your own. If you have permission to climb the Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain you will be able to do it after the guiding ends. In the afternoon you will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will take the train back to Ollantaytambo. A bus will be waiting for you, to take you back to Cusco.
