The Mountain of 7 Colors is also known as the Rainbow Mountain. It is a magical place that was part of the roads of the ancient Quechuas to barter their products (exchange of products) with others suyos (Inca regions), which is now a natural wonder.
It is a majestic attraction, with wild, snowy desert landscapes, herds of alpacas and the majestic Condor. We will be able to see the imposing Apu Ausangate. It is listed by National Geographic magazine as one of the 100 places to visit before you die.

For rainbow mountain in peru We will pick you up at your hotel between 03:00 am – 03:15 am. To then start the trip to the South Valley, which lasts about 3 hours until we reach the community of Hanchipacha, where we will have breakfast. Then we will continue the trip to the community of Quesiuno (4,326m.s.n.m/ 14,189 feet), from where a 3-hour walk begins.
On the way rainbow mountain Peru we will enjoy beautiful landscapes, see herds of alpacas and llamas: We will also be able to appreciate different flora as we walk, we will even see the beautiful snowy Ausangate (Cusco’s tutelary mountain), along with many red mountains and traditional local houses.
Once we reach the Rainbow Mountain (5,200 masl / 16,466 feet), you will have time to explore the area and take the best pictures.
After visiting the incredible and imposing place, we will go down to the beginning of our trekking point, which lasts approximately 2 hours. (Community of Quesiuno) where we will take our transportation to the community of Hanchipacha to have lunch.
After lunch we will return to Cusco and leave you at your hotel or place where you are staying.
