We will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco between 07:00 and 07:30 a.m. to start our journey.
Our first stop will be at AWANACANCHA. Which is an exhibition center for native animals: South American camelids such as alpaca, vicuna and llama. Your guide will explain you about these animals, why they were important to the Inca economy.
Then we will arrive at the viewpoint of the Sacred Valley and be able to see the incredible views of the Andes Mountains. Then we will go to the archaeological site of Pisaq, important place for the Incas, Next, we will go to the town of Urubamba where we will have lunch in a local restaurant, which offers several dishes prepared with fresh products from the area.
After enjoying lunch, we will continue to the next stop which is the archaeological center of OLLANTAYTAMBO, a unique place with a fascinating history.
Ollantaytambo, is a beautiful town considered as the last living Inca city, with its original Inca streets used by the inhabitants at present. Then, we will visit the Inca fortress, which is considered the gateway to Machu Picchu.
