At Hello Peru Travelin Peru,we are aware that the sexual exploitation of the underage is a worldwide problem, for this reason we welcome and adapt the following measures as our “Outranging Public Decency” in order to counteract the exploitation of pornography, sex tourism and other forms of child abuse.
1.-To refrain from offering in tourism promotion programs and tourism plans, expressly or surreptitiously, plans for the sexual exploitation of girls or teenagers.
2.-To refrain from giving information to tourists directly or through people close to the place from where they coordinate or where they practice commercial sexual exploitation of children or adolescent
3.-Refrain from driving tourists, directly or through third parties, to establishments or places where commercial sexual exploitation of children is practiced, as well as driving them to places where tourists are staying, even if it is of places located on the high seas for commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
4.-Refrain from providing vehicles on the tourist route for the purpose of sexual exploitation of children or adolescents.
5.-Prevent the entry of adolescent boys and girls to hotels or lodging places, bars, similar businesses and other establishments in which tourist services are presented, for the purpose of sexual exploitation or abuse.
6.-Adopt the measures that are in place to prevent personnel linked to the company from offering tourist services, for the purpose of exploitation or sexual abuse.
7.-Protect national or foreign children or adolescents from all forms of exploitation and sexual violence caused by national or foreign tourists.
8.- Report to the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and other competent authorities, the facts that have been known by any means, as well as the suspicion of these, related to sexual exploitation of children or adolescents and ensure to have channels within the company to report such events to the competent authorities.
9.-Design and disclose within the company and to its suppliers of goods and services, a policy in which the provider establishes measures to prevent and counteract all forms of sexual exploitation of children or adolescents during the tourist trip.
10.-Train all related personnel and also linking companies, as well as suppliers that, due to the nature of their activities have contact with tourists, regarding the issue of prevention of commercial sexual exploitation of children and adolescents.
11.-Inform tourists about the legal consequences in Peru, about the exploitation and sexual abuse of children or adolescents.
12.-We share on our website this Outranging Public Decency and the other commitments that the presenter wishes to assume in order to protect children or adolescents.
